Full/Part-Time Store Sales Associate
T-Trove specializes in furniture, art, home decor, garden planters & accessories. We are seeking a Part-Time Retail Store Sales Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling merchandise, customer service, product stocking, and maintaining the showroom in a retail setting. We are looking for candidates who enjoy public interaction, positive and with desire to learn. Our 10,000 sq ft Denver showroom and warehouse is open Monday to Saturday and most holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain products and services to customers
- Enter and process customer orders
- Investigate and resolve customer complains
- Maintain proper merchandise stocking and inventory
- Assist with data entry, website upkeep and office paperwork
- General store & merchandise cleaning and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Honest & Dependable
- Organized, detail-oriented with a willingness to learn on the job
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office in a windows environment
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs
- Ability to work standing for up to 8 hours a day
- Have valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with proof of automobile insurance
Preferred Skills & Experiences (not required):
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with forklift/ pallet jack
- Some background in marketing, graphic or interior design
Full Time Position: Expect to work on Saturdays and some Sundays.
Part Time Position: Work 2-4 days (16-25 hours) per week between 10am and 6pm with flexible shift hours. Expect to work on Saturdays and some Sundays.
